>But they said they still had tickets for the show in Cincinnati.
Everything was cancelled. Here is the official info posted on the
tadream mailing list:
"Hi fellow TD'ers,
there will be a posting to the TDI site today or tomorrow, but I
reckoned
that you people deserve to get the news first - yes, as it looks, the
USA-tour has indeed been cancelled for now. After having to move the
tour
to early February, we waited for the booking agency to put together a
coherent itinerary. Yet, at the end of October, there were still
enormous
gaps in the tour - more than one third were still off-days - most of
you
will probably understand that this would have been impossible to do,
financially (an off-day is full costs for coach, crew and hotels - but
no
income since there's no show.) They tried until the end of November to
fill
the gaps except for driving days - this wasn´t possible. So, we
suggested
that they cut the tour down to size by the beginning of the this week,
which wasn´t possible either - this is why they suggested to cancel
the
tour ... unfortunately, there was no other possibility, as it seems.
As you
can see, both TD and the agency have tried their best to save this
tour,
but time and circumstances were playing against us. It would need some
sort
of a miracle to make this happen now.
The band sincerely apologizes for not being able to make it this time
and
will try to find a way to pay a visit to their North American fans at
their
earliest possible convenience.
Best regards,
Martin Kasprzak
