Roland TB 303 sick

Guys my Tb 303 does not play/run patterns any more, the pattern selector led´s light up but dont flash, i can play notes and the step button runs through the memorised notes but does not RUN/play solo. guy said it may be the tempo knob or sync. it´s not linked to anything, i can maybe buy a din sync cable and hook it up to an old tr 707, anyone got any ideas
