It sure is quiet in here, I guess I'll try and attempt to start a thread up.
I should be doing my part as a hardcore Suede fan and be posting my arse off
in here. Well, I've got nothing going tonight, so I'll post my Top Ten
favorite Suede songs. Maybe this will get some sort of response from this
ghost town.

Talk to me on AIM about Suede. I'm probably bored at work right now! My
screen name is "Sci Fi Lullaby79"

0. The Chemistry Between Us - One of the greatest intros I've ever heard.
Makes me smile every time I hear it.

9. Animal Nitrate - I miss Bernard. I definitely don't hate Richard, I
think he
simply kicks ass. But the feel of his guitar work is quite different.
Bernard has got this raw flowing element that fuels his solos.

8.. The Asphalt World - This song makes me want to cry. It's got one of the
best climaxes combined with an excellent guitar solo. Lyrically it sends
chills up my spine. Sometimes when I listen to Dog Man Star I wish it would
close out with this song. It's extremely heavy and heartfelt.

7. The Power - The first Suede song I ever heard, it still holds a special
place in my heart even after all this time. Brett's vocal work is
absolutely amazing. He gives it a soaring feel about it.

6. My Dark Star - This is one of those tracks you listen to after a long
day. It has ability to calm and sooth my soul.

5. She's in Fashion - This song has so much untapped potential. The sound
is THERE, I couldn't ask for anything more. The introduction has this
"wavy" feel to it. I like to put my hands in the air and let the sound
guide them around. Heh heh, I know... I'm a loser............. The lyrics
however are lacking. I leaves me in complete mystification why Suede
produces a song with such a complex and unique sound and then inserts some
repetitive lyrics.

4. Whipsnade - I spend most of my time trying to decipher what exactly
Whipsande means. Any ideas?

3. Electricity - I love this song, the excitement, the tempo, the vocal
work. If only Suede would have added another verse or two. This thing
could have broke into the mainstream. Like She's in Fashion, it has
enormous potential.

2. Heroine - The first time I heard Dog Man Star I felt it extremely odd
that a group would have the balls to write a song about that is openly about
the drug heroine. One day I was analyzing the lyrics I discovered it had
nothing to with the drug. This song took on a whole new meaning.

1. New Generation - In an interview Brett gave he commented that Suede
hadn't wrote any classics quite yet. I disagree completely. This song can
connect with any stupid kid out there. The sound, the lyrics, it's all
there.

I won't be numbering.

"Filmstar" - one of the first songs by suede I heard so, it's a kind of
fondness, and that skip from this vivid stanza to this cosmic chorus, uhm,
love this.

"Savoir Faire" - nothing special, but this reminds a girl, I almost had...
almost.

"the 2 of us" - great song, although I don't like ending...

"Crack in the Union Jack" - this song sounds pretty not bad on the head
music, but I love to play and sing this... just love.

"So young" - that is my favourite favourite favourite suede's song. It has
so fucking a lot of positive/negative energy, um, and that guitar... it's
just my favourite.

"Everything will flow" - ahaaha, and everything will flow

"Heroine" - I'm eighteen and I need my heroine, hah, Im 20 almost... im old

"she's in fashion" - I like clip, you know this ends of the towns.

"this hollywood live" - great guitar in the chorus and generall, it has an
energy

and the first suede's song I learned to play on guitar - "the beautiful
ones" (girls love this:)

-dain

and ofcourse.. "my dark star" and "killing of a flasboy" but it is to much
of them I think... sorry, suede is so great, that I just cannot figure 10
particular songs.

hi,

my name is kerstin and i'm from germany. i haven't posted here yet,
although i'm a huge suede fan. it is kinda cool to see how many suede
fans there are in the rest of the world. here in germany the number of
fans seems quite limited.

anyway, i find it interesting to see the fan's favourite songs.

Tim Kinnaird <macph...@home.com> wrote:

i also love whipsnade. not that i know what whipsnade means, but when i went
on bus from sheffield to london, i saw a traffic sign with Whipsnade
on it. so it seems something geographical, i also thought i heard
about it beeing a zoo, but i don't know, maybe i dreamt it. so, i don't
think it helps. i don't get a meaning out of it, but it is a gorgeous
song.

my favourites are (no order):
asphalt world
the living dead
the next life
killing of a flash boy
have you ever been this low
the power
elephant man
let go
trash
the 2 of us

but for me it would be easier to name the songs i don't love as much.
but this you more or less wrote in this ng.

lots of greetings to you all

kerstin

Kerstin is right. As those of us living here in England will know,
Whipesnade is a zoo. Never been there, and not quite sure where it
is. But it's definitely a zoo. Never heard the song either (wasn't
it a B-side to "We are the pigs"?). Seeing as it features in so many
people's top 10, would anyone care to post the MP3 :) ?

For what it's worth, my top 10 are:

1. My Dark Star (number 1 by a long way)
2. To the Birds
3. This Hollywood Life (purely on the strength of the recording from
the "Live in Toronto" bootleg. Knocks the socks of the studio
version).
4. My Insatiable One
5. She
6. Trash
7. Arsefelt World
8. Killing of a Flash Boy
9. We Are the Pigs
10. Saturday Night (specially live version with Neil Tennant).

Since I really care, I'll give a detailed response.

1. New Generation- This the the ultimate Suede song, I think. It's the
glam-rock epic, it beats David Bowie and Mick Ronson at their own game,
and by a wide margin. It's got more great guitar riffs than most bands
can fit on an album, and THREE choruses.

2. Asphalt World- I love this one cause it's a huge pretentious rock
epic, but not without being loads of fun. The instrumentation and
production are absolutely perfect. (I don't know what Bernard was whining
about, production-wise. This one seems pretty damn good to me- I wonder
how he would have done differently?) Plus, the lyrics are awesome! "When
you're there in her arms and there in her legs, well I'll be in her
head"? That's just a perfect snide line.

3. Wild Ones- Few songs transistion so well from acoustic to electric,
and (and work very very well in both worlds, to boot). Plus, it's one of
the few songs to use the whole Scott Walker style without sounding
ridiculous.

4. Painted People- If there are any drooling troglodytes out there who
still think Richard is anywhere close to Bernard in terms of creativity
with a guitar, listen to this. It's great! You never know where he's
going next!

5. This World Needs a Father- This is an underdog, but I've got to put it
on anyway. This song isn't well known, but it's got wicked lyrics and a
really nice weird antique-pop-music vibe to it.

6. Stay Together- I put this on there cause I'm a sucker for huge massive
Suede guitar epics, as people might have noticed by now. It's got a great
tune, and the bit with the horns at the end is perfect.

7. Living Dead- Fourth best heroin song ever written, after Heroin by VU,
Needle And The Damage Done by Neil Young, and Needle of Death by Bert
Jansch.

8. Pantomime Horse- The version on the album isn't too special, really,
but when this gets played live (especially in the Performace bootleg), it
really gains something new.

9. Whipsnade- Bernard Butler pretending to be Johnny Marr, and to great
effect. The solo in the middle is killer. Extra bonus: this song is loads
of fun to play.

10. High Rising- The lyrics could have been generated by a Brett Anderson
Lyric Machine, but it's great musically, it proves that Bernard could do
more than just guitar.

And now to RANT:
As you can see, there's not even one song on there from the post-Bernie
era. Why? Because they haven't been that good since then, CASE CLOSED.
Not only is Bernard the best guitarist ever to have been in Suede, he's
certainly among the best guitarists of the 90s or of any decade. He might
not be fast and wild like John Squire, but he uses the tremolo like
nobody since John Cippolina, and he's able to actually put a counterpoint
behind the singer and not just indulge himself. He plays with a creative
touch that makes him easily distinguishable from anyone else. He's not
only technically masterful, but he's truly musical, which really helped
Suede out a lot. When he left, it took two guys to replace him, and even
now they're still not pulling their weight. Richard Oakes is a good
guitarist. He's just not great. You could replace him with the guitarist
from Matchbox 20 and I wouldn't notice. But if someone brought Jimi
Hendrix back to life and re-cut the Bernard-Era Suede records with him on
guitar, it would be a disservice.

If Suede's next album is anything more than disgusting self-parody, I'll
be a happy man.

P.S.- My brother and I refer to Richard as "Seal Flipper Boy," because of
his graceless guitar playing.

Okay, I'll give it a try...

1) My Dark Star - still my favourite Suede song of all time. It's got
inspiration and a fabulous tune, that's it...

2) This Time - I bought the single of "Saturday Night" because I had some
money to waste, and it's turned out to be a wonderful surprise... I
especially like the intro and where it goes "this time/is yours and mine" .
For some reason, it makes me think of early morning in London.

3) Weight of the world - yes, I'm fond of Neil Codling's ballads. This is my
latest discovery... and I guess it's one of the finest Suede songs, at least
lyric-wise.

4) The Two of Us - as someone said, great "growing" sound and moving
theme...

5) The Chemistry Between Us - funny mix of double entendres....

6) The Asphalt World - at first, I didn't like nor the song neither the
album. Of course, it's grown on me so quickly that it's become my
favourite... ;)

7) Another No-one. - "Because outside in the morning light/It's another
day". I love the idea of "strarting it all over again" for some reason, and
it fits my mood right now. In the song, she just has the guts to.

8) The Sound of the Streets - Suede played live in Italy some years ago (It
was 1997 if I'm right) and they performed this song, that I hadn't heard yet
at the time. The live version is far better than the studio one; yet it
stays in the top 10.

9) Daddy's speeding - it's dramatical and desperate, so it's fantastic ;)

10) Trash - the first Suede song I ever heard. It's affection, you know ;)

There are many more I'd mention though. Well, it's always like this when you
are a fan....

love 2 everyone

1. The Wild Ones - I love this, but don't know why. Maybe it's the timing
of it's release, the sweeping chorus, the heartfelt lyrics, the memories I
have attached to it... I dunno, maybe it's the images I get when I think of
Suede and this song.

2. The Asphalt World - An epic to end all epics. The story of a jilted
lover with a penchant for delivering cutting jibes that go right into the
gut.

3. Animal Nitrate - When I heard the version of this being performed at
the Brit Awards I couldn't stop playing the introduction (who was it that
spoke?) "Please welcome the already legendary, Suede" and then that
electrifying opening riff. I wish I could have been there...

4. This Time - This song puts me in the perfect relaxed mood no matter how
I'm feeling to begin with. Any song that can do that is always going to get
played to death, but this song never loses its freshness. I hum this song
as I take the train between Nottingham and Cambridge and it always seems to
get me there quicker...

5. We Are the Pigs - My sister had this single way before I got into Suede
and I didn't really like it. Years later I found it down the back of our
hi-fi unit and gave it a spin. I fell in love with it and the B-sides but
had no money to buy more of their stuff. I forgot about them for ages then
saw the fantastic cover artwork of Sci-Fi Lullabies advertised in the NME
and read the review. It was good, and so I spent money that I should've
spent on new shoes on the album. I liked it so much I got myself a job so I
could afford to buy more of their stuff!

6. Whipsnade - Like This Time, this song has a haunting ability to just
put me in the best moods. It stinks of Suede at their best. "blades
engraved with babies names while pylons hide the suicide".

7. These Are The Sad Songs - I love guitar driven songs and this has a
strange effect on me. "Listen to the music in your head".

8. She's Not Dead - Epic. Brett's falsetto suits this song down to the
ground.

9. Every Monday Morning Comes - The Suede song that tempted me to buy
Coming Up.

10. Sadie - Under-rated, superb guitar solo late on.

Close runners up would be Savior Faire, Europe Is Our Playground (how
stardom might make you feel), Leaving, Sam (superb meandering bassline), The
Drowners...

I'm fascinated what music other people like and it's weird seeing people
liking songs I hate, even though they're all by my fave band.

What were people's first favourites, i.e, when you first listened to a
particular album which ones stood out then and which ones grew to be your
favourites now.

That's a good point Jules.... I might actually add the whole Dog Man Star to
your list. I didn't appreciate much of it at the beginning; I became a fan
with Coming Up and that was the first "sound" I got used to and I associated
Suede with. Coming up is much more ... upbeat than DMS - but incidentally,
after a few months DMS became my fave Suede album ever.

A specific song that I hated and that I love now - Modern Boys.

on first listen i hated pretty much all of DMS (seriously) with the
exception
of New Generation and The Wild Ones. once i got to know the songs
they took on greater meaning and i still love all of them (yes, all of
them).

i think this is the difference between a good album and an exceptional
album. i generally find that if i love an album the first time i hear it,
then
it won't have much longevity. if, as with DMS, it takes a while to grow
on me then it's a stayer.

Does anyone have an album that's sooo bad they've only listened to bits of
it, hidden it in the bottom of their wardrobe and have been so embarrassed
for buying it that they didn't want to take it back?

I have! It was called Cold & Bouncy and was by the High Llamas! Go to
http://www.nme.com/NME/External/MyNME/MyNME_Reviews/0,1349,783,00.html to
read the review for it. I like the bit where it says, "So, essentially,
this is a '90s 'Pet Sounds', "!!!!

The only reason why I haven't destroyed this CD (or used it as a drinks mat,
as my failed CD-R burns end up) is that I hope to compete in a 'Who has the
worst CD' contest with my mates...

that'd be a shame since it's the finest piece of... pop!
'take me back', 'so the story goes' and 'always' are all
among the catchiest pop tunes i've ever heard. - so why
destroy it by fire?!? :-/

i have a cd which everyone probably owns in here... PJ Harvey - Rid Of Me
... and i listen to the first 4-5 tracks and thought this is crap... and
i've not listened to it since... it's a shame really.. 'cos every cd i have
on my shelf i love and.. it's like a black patch really.. :(

i've really no interest to change my mind over it.

Hehe right on Geraint. :) I say I say I say is one of my favorite Erasure
albums. It's so lovely two/three weeks ago I was playing it non-stop (went I
say I say I say CrAzY) and discovered Blues Away, it's such a nice song, I
just never realized it. :)

Haha you made me laugh. I have an Edwynn Collins CD, I never ever listen to
it but I also made a promise years ago that I would never sell it, don't
know why. So everytime I want to, my friends are like wait you can't sell
it, it's the Edwynn Collins cd, it's just really corny it's funny I guess.
Who knows, I should sell it I didn't even know it was still in my room until
a few minutes ago. And I'm a bit embarressed of Rubber Soul by The Beatles,
I didn't buy it. :o/ But it's ok, it has my song, such a beautiful song. :)

i notice quite a few people like Pulp too. well, after i bought His N Hers,
i went
through a stage of looking at Pulp's back catalogue and picked up a copy
of their first album, which is called "Lighthouse". it is, without doubt,
the worst
album i've ever heard and to charge me £7.99 for it was equivalent to being
mugged.

it's not even good enough to be used as a coaster.

yeah, you're right. but i've to say that the songs on
their first single, countdown & death goes to disco,
remind me a bit of the stuff from their his 'n' hers
era. plus they've definitely had their moments in the
past as well. who isn't in love with the little girl

btw. totally off-topic. but anyone who can confirm if
jarvis cocker is/was a member of the "all seeing i"?
i remember he did 'walk like a panther' on british

over here sounded more like some old man singing, and
not jarvis at all, hmm.

indeed. though i never understood why people were/are so
fascinated by the beatles? i mean, of course i dig some
of their tunes, who doesn't? but generally speaking max.
3-4 songs per album. nothing like e.g suede, by whom i
love almost every single/album song. it's like i could
go on listening to one of my favourite bands for hours,
but after listening to 6-7 songs by the beatles in a row
i'm almost screaming and considering cutting myself.

btw. the only album in my drawer i'm kinda embarrassed of
is garbage with their self-titled album. i just can't stand
it! and i beg and i pray they'll never ever release a version
III. used to hate the millennium album by tricky as well. but
thank god, it's destroyed by now.

which makes me wonder if suede have done a really classic song?
one that always will be remembered when people are mentioning
their name. i'm afraid not (only an album (dms)). strange though,
since all the other popular britrockers have done at least one.
radiohead (creep), blur (song 2), oasis (wonderwall/don't look
back in anger), pulp (common people) & u2 (one). but suede? uhm
beautiful ones, maybe? but still i won't call it a classic (yet).

Hi,

Yes, i saw him on TOTP as well and there was Jarvis singing. But on
the original version it was Tony Christie. I don't know if oyu
know him, he is quite old really, as you already said it.

HTH.

i must admit that i prefer the version with Tony Christie, to be

this is my top 10 fav... not in any order though

Saturday night - first song i heard from suede, attracted by the guitar
intro...

The Wild Ones - I will say that this is my favourite song. the acoustic
intro is so quiet and soothing.... and the transition to electric guitar was
masterfully done. I simply love the part in the chorus when bret repeatedly
sings "...oh....if u stay..." and also the guitar work by bernard is simply
mesmerizing...

Heroin - heard this song when i was 18.... listened to it repeatedly
throughout that yr :)

The Asphalt World - enough said about this song by the others... i cant
describe it any better... ( well maybe is due to my poor command of
English.....)

Animal Nitrate - my fav song while playing on the guitar

Killing of a Flashboy - i think this is the best b-side by suede. definitely
worthed to be an A-side...

The Drowners -

Chemistry Between Us

Europe is Our Playground - i just cant stop singing whnever i hear this
song... very dark and romantic.....

Savoir Faire - well.... the only song in my list thats in the post bernard
era....

well suede had been pretty quiet for a long time... heard that the new
single will be out ard autumn... to be frank i m kind of disappointed by the
last album, could it really be due to the absence of bernard butler? i
wonder if bernard is still around, maybe suede would not have headed towards
a new style... anyway bernard is still around and cutting album...guess
thats the only consolation :)

I think they published several version (at least two) and you're
right, there is Jarvis singing as well. but also another, older guy
(Tony Christie). I saw a video version with that old guy, I'm sure,
and Jarvis on stage in TOTP. Sooo, we are all right.

still i reckon it wasn't *that* bad in the mid-90's. dunno
what went wrong though, but at least the artists are better

well, i'm not surprised you like 'i want a lover' since it's
definitely a song that brings memories back to the classic
italian disco sound (sniff, i kinda miss those happy days)!
but i've to say i do prefer the version they did for liza
minnelli when it comes to 'tonight is forever'. it was never
meant to be a disco tune in the first place i think? but neils
mezzo alto probably ain't made for such an emotional song...

It is, trust me! Kind of really cheesy, funky (in a 70's kind of way)
ballads. Nothing like A Girl Like You. The only other song that I thought

Ahh Exactly!! :o) Wow, FINALLY someone who can agree with me. In fact I can
never explain why I'm not really a Beatles fan to people, I try and try and
no one understands cuz yeah there are a *few* songs I like but like you said
after hearing 3-4 in a row it just really can make you go mad. One of my
friends always bug me about it. :o/ And I can't understand why some people
are so obsessed with them. But I never knew you thought in the
same way as me, cool!

:)) of course i would. i would say U2's most famous songs are:

- With or Without You
- Sunday Bloody Sunday
- One
- Sweetest Thing (in england anyway)

and a few more.

i'm not sure which one everybody knows, but if i say to somebody
that i like U2 and Suede then they'll usually say: "U2, didn't they do
that XX (from the above 4) song?". for Suede they usually say:
"aren't they the ones with that camp singer?" and i'm being serious.
i would agree that everybody also knows who they are when i sing
Trash at them.

bretts voice is very much a love or hate thing. all my mates hate it and say
it sounds whiny and is generally crap.

i disagree obviously but you can't tell them the're idiots, can you!

Ach! It's definitely "With or Without You" ask any cheerleader, cowboy,
construction worker haha over here and they will know "With or Without You".
In fact it's always nominated or IS the Senior prom song in High School.
Well at least in the schools where I live. Sadly our Senior song when I was
graduating was by Vitamin C. :( But oh well what could I expect....I should
have nominated The Living Dead or something haha I mean if Vitamin C won,
why not.

Hmm I don't get it? What do you mean by "camp singer" ?
Do you know what, Phill? Today on MTV they were showing the worst videos by
good artists. Anyways U2's was "Numb" sniff how sad. That was the first U2
song I ever heard, well I saw the video when I was little and thought it was
the funniest thing, maybe cuz I was little and feet on a guys face was
funny/weird to me, I dunno. But hey I've seen worse ya know. :) Stupid Mtv.
I wanna take over MTV America so bad, you don't even wanna know. They need

Haha you know what Phill? I think that's exactly what happened to me except
it was The Power and New Generation as the only two I liked. I don't know
why. But I remember I could NOT get into the album. It took a traffic jam to
let me get into the album, in my sophmore year (97) there was ice on the
road and I had taken DMS with me to give it another try and it took over an
hour to get to school (usually took 12 min. or so) so I heard the whole
thing and loved it!! :o)

And actually the first Suede song I ever heard was 'Stay Together" I always
forget that but it was on 'The Best Album in The World ever" CD but I always
skipped Stay Together cuz hehe I thought Brett's voice was annoying (typical
right haha) and the second song I heard was "Shipbuilding" from the Help
album and I hated it, still don't really like that cover. But when I saw
Trash on MTV for the first time I never realized I had even heard Suede
before. Maybe cuz they were called "The London Suede"? In fact at first I
called them The London Suede, I didn't know any better. :oP

Hmm I don't think that's always true with me, in fact it's very rare for me
to not like an album at first and then let it grow on me and then I love it.
But I love it when that happens. :o) But the part about loving an album the
first second you get it and play it non stop and then never listen to it for
months afterwards (someone said that) always happens to me, I tend to
*overplay* things. sniff :o/

Hehe..actually you got me in the "I want a lover" mood now so I had to
listen to it. But all last week, I don't know why but I couldn't get enough
of
"This Must Be the Place I've Waited Years To Leave" AND believe it or not
"Two Divided By Zero". Don't laugh now hehe. I just heard (a few days ago)
"Bubadubadubadum"
haha have you heard it? It made me laugh. :oP Silly boys!
Is it just me or does the EWF remix remind you a little of "Lies"? (well
they use the
same sound in it) I love that song
and Chris is singing, very cool. :)

Hey the same is with me. Right now the Pet Shop Boys are my fave band. It
was Suede and then Kliche and now it's back to the Pet Shop Boys. :o) That's
all
I listen to, it's not good for your health is it? Well this week/last week
though I've also been listening to "Loveboat" by Erasure, DMS and
Bloodflowers a
lot. Oh well and I can't get enough of KDX 125 either. Especially the little
part in the middle where the song changes. I love it, do you know that part?
Makes me want to DaNcE, dAnCe, DaNcE. I love that song. Anyways so they are
your favorite? What bootlegs do you have? :o)

it's probrably an english expression, it's like somebody who acts/behaves
in an obvious overly gay manner (even if they are not gay).

first u2 song i heard was Pride (in the name of love). numb isn't U2's worse

i hate the mysterious ways video (love the song though).

I'm not say PSB totally suck. In fact, have the best of album. But I don't
understand how anyone could site them as their favorite band. they have maybe
4 or 5 good songs to show for a 15 year career. They were a freind of mine's
favorite and I really don't understand their appeal at all

hmm, i don't remember the little part in the middle. but i
do remember i liked the final part (the one with the bells).
btw. talking about relentless. is it just me, or doesn't the
last song sound more like an electronic (the band) tune than
a typical psb song?

of their songs could easily have been suede songs and vice versa.
and yes, you might find their music and personalities boring,
and it's ok! but as musicians they've done some of the finest
pop/dance music ever imo. they've always got their own particular
sound (they don't have need to change it radically (like e.g.
blur) just because their last album didn't become a huge success
etc.) and i do think it has its charm! - plus they don't have
a need of being controversial or being hardy for that mattter
(like e.g oasis). they've just got a bit of dry, british humour
and that's what i admire about the pets. they're cultured, doing
great synth-pop and then they're probably one of best (if not
the best?) live acts around today. i just can't say one bad
word about them (with the exception of their paninaro dancers,
but that's a different story).

well, 'beautiful ones' is their biggest hit today (at least in
europe). but i don't know what i was thinking :-/ of course it's
got to be 'the wild ones'. both the new/old suede generation as
the loners on the streets dig this one.

i'd still say that 'one' is the #1 classic u2 song.
though discotheque/staring at the sun probably were
more popular with the mobs over here.

didn't they do this one together with... uhm... what's the
name of the group. ack don't remember it now. anyways, this
was one of the reasons why i think u2 definitely have lost
it since the pop-era. they kinda did the same thing to miss

invite another artist only so they could please the media.
and what happened? after this the song sounded like crap.

But wasn't that Catatonia I heard singing Westend Girls with Neil at
Glastonbury or was it Cranes? :o/ Or was it me? Nope! I'm all confused.

Ah I remember Boyzone were there haha, but don't you like Ronan Keating?

Ack he gave it his all, Pavarotti is funny cuz he really gets into the song
as if his life depends on it. hehe :) Maybe if you see the video it helps?

No he's not! The song would not be as good without Pavarotti, he just makes
it so much more magical and while he's singing Bono is doing his lines as
well and it's just ah oh so sweet/lovely! But Bono has only sang with one
Italian right? And hey hey I'm glad *I* was never a George Michael fan like

Maybe but even on the unplugged Amsterdam gig Brett said something about
Trash sarcastically like....this is an oldie or you've never heard this one
before...hmm I can't remember go listen to it. And it was the one song that
got the most audience reaction to it plus they even sang the song with
