Razor Boy lyrics- what do they mean?

Hello all. I was wondering if anybody had thoughts about what on earth
"Razor Boy" is about. I kind of thought it might be a reference to
razorblade editing of tapes "will you still have a song to sing when the
razor boy comes and takes your fancy things away" would then be a tirade
against overproduced, gimmicky music. But there are other parts of the
lyrics that don't seem to fit with that theory. I suppose it could also be
about the Dan's supposed fascination with the underworld...Razor Boy
sounds like a scary title for a hitman...

The Razor Boy is death, y'know, the big guy in the cloak that carries the huge
razor-sharp scythe blade, ready to cut down all the vicious and depraved
sodomites and junkies who are living on borrowed time anyway. Not that I have
anything against sodomites and junkies; they're some of my dearest and closest
personal friends in the whole worls.
