Rick Danko, from the Band, dead at age 56.

I saw the original Band twice and the reformed touring unit that's been
active for many years, several times. Rick appeared to have lived,
perhaps was still living, the hard road life some musicians choose or
fall into... heavy and tired looking the last time I saw him a few
years back. He always played and sang well though.
We have the great recordings and the fantastic visual document The Last
Waltz-which captured a young Rick Danko at his peak-to help us always
remember this rock pioneer's contributions to The Band and The Music.
