Both the promo company and the 'areena' say that this date is Aug 30:

http://www.hartwall-areena.com/kalenteri.htm
http://www.welldone.fi/tapahtumat.cfm

An e-mail received from the promo company's mailing list (well before the
dates were posted on the official SD web page-- scooped!) states that
tickets go on sale Monday for this one.

Thanks for the info.
I never realised you were from Finland Scott? Although you don't post
here so often now, a lot of readers and posters here won't remember you
used to be THE authority on SD around here, going back to the mid
nineties. I sometimes wondered if you were indeed Brian Sweet himself!
Anyway I always figured you were from America! Have you moved to
Helsinki from the States recently?

Also I don't recall you expressing an opinion here on 2vN Scott, would
you care to remedy that?

Best Wishes,

John

Hey Scott,

I also thought you were from the US. Haven't heard from you a long time.
Always liked your Dan page you made many years ago, the Jurassic one, as
Fagen would say.
Just had a look at it
http://www.students.uiuc.edu/~borton/steely_dan_albums/albums.html
and saw the last update was in 1996.
As it wasn't maintained anymore, I lent your background.

You old site was at the .edu and your mail at the .org domain.
Were you student then and did you move to Finland?
Or did you travel to europe just to see more of the tour? Guess you're right.

Thank you very much for the kind words, John.

Yes, that is the case.

Share and share alike! If you recall, I asked you in 1994 if I could use
the information from your SD text discography that was floating around on
various gopher sites, and you generously consented. So, it's only fair that
you get something out of the deal. : )

The site may soon be coming back, fresh for the new century, by very
special request.

>Were you student then and did you move to Finland?

Yes, I was and I have. I needed a change of scenery, and there's plenty of
that here! And there will even be SD, soon...
