this is quite possibly one of the weirdest things I've read, but then,
I considered it in terms of survival. Reacting by creating more fat
cells would predispose those people to survive better a century ago.
So do we really want to tamper with a survival mechanism by creating a
vaccine to kill a survival mechanism that may come in handy in a
decade, once the bees finish collapsing their colonies and moving out
with their little suitcases and bandanas on a stick?
