yesterday richard head and i went out and bought a new tv. the thing
that sold us on the television was that it had a wifi signal and could
stream internet content.

as we were lugging it to the till to checkout, we realised it was,
essentially, a webtv. in the immortal .sig file of johnny dakota (we
think?), we now own a tv that thinks it's a computer.
mr. dakota, wherever you are, i'm sure you're highly disappointed with
us.

I am a bit shocked that WebTV might actually be useful in this day and
age. Perhaps its only crime was that it came out 12 years too early? ;)
