Julien-K is hitting the road this summer on June 12th with Combichrist
for a US tour.
For those who are unaware, Julien-K is made up of members from the band
Orgy:
Julien-K was conceived in 2003, by Orgy guitarists Ryan Shuck and Amir
Derakh. They both wanted to continue the experimentation/exploration of
electronic music.
Shuck wanted to create electro music with honest vocals and lyrics that
meant something. Vocals with melody and passion. Amir wanted to
completely throw the sonic/technical rule book out the window- use
technologies that have not been used (by anybody), and at the same time
NOT let the technology overwhelm us- keeping focused on songwriting.
So if you like the band Orgy, then you'll like Julien-K.
