poking around cdnow i came across the group squeeze.
looking at the album titled piccadilly collection a was able to listen to
hourglass, a song that came out in 87.

is this ska?

No... is this 80's brit pop? Yes. EC produced a couple of their songs, BTW

i just thought everyone ought to know that.

not as much as echo & the bunnymen or the teardrop explodes ....but squeeze
does rock. :)

Hey Amy just thought youd like to know..i was at a party at Rutgers, and
someone had a copy of maxim with an article..the top 20 worst names for a band
and they were ranked pretty highly. haha

The Squeeze (or the UK squeeze depending where you're from) were not SKA.
They wrote some great songs of a school best described as Kitchen sink
dramas.

I haven't heard it in several years, but if I recall correctly, it's just on
the off beat; it's not ska.
