Why are skinhead girls so ugly?

I've been going to punk, ska and OI! shows for years now and I was wondering
if anyone else ever took notice that all skinhead girls are either really
fat, or really ugly or both. Most of the time when I see a skinhead guy, and
he's with a girl, shes not a skinhead girl, she's usually an attractive
normal girl.

I know there's probably some exceptions to the rule, but what Im talking
about isthe majority.

Also, why do so many cd covers have pictures of this really good looking
skinhead girl when we all know she doesn't exist.

Anyone out there agree? ?

i wondered about that for awhile too. then i found an exception to the
rule, thin, very attractive, smartly dressed, and smart! so it just goes
to show you can't generalize about everything.

cause everyone knows cartoons always look better than real life people, be
they punks, skins, whathaveyou.

I can vouch that in philly, the skinhead girls are straight up skeezers. I
think they're from S. Jersey though, because they only show up for the big
Troc shows.

i hate the hairstyle the most. it takes away all attractive features of the
face or the body, if there are any to begin with. the close-shaven head with
long bangs in front? what the fo', yo? and i think skinheads should wear
something besides the typical jeans and boots and jacket once in a while. oh,
there i go thwacking the stereotype. thwack thwack thwack stomp thump

No, I do not agree with what you've just said at all, Mike. It is such a
sad sight to see people judging others simply on physical appearance. To
tell you the truth, if you live your life judging women on solely on
their physical appearance, well then, you are going to be one sad and
lonely man for a long time. What kind of girl would want a guy who is so
shallow and superficial like yourself? It just boggles the mind!! Then
again, it is such your typical male reaction... 'nuff said.

I've seen a couple of skinhead girls at a Skatalites show at the Fenix and
one (redhead) was absolutely stunning.

By the way, Lacey sucks!

most of the skinhead girls I see at shows are tiny little midgets.
well, not midgets, more like pixies I guess. They all look like they're
in second grade. Tho I have seen big and ugly ones, too. And cute ones,
and average ones, etc. But mostly midgets.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's mean but I totally agree. I take my girlfriend to ska
shows and she sticks out like a sore thumb. The only good looking girls at
the shows are the ones that don't fit in and look as if it is their first
time at a ska show. The skinheads are exactly as you say.

Wow, I'm wondering where you guys live that you see things like that. In
Toronto there are plenty of attractive chelseas. There's one in
particular that really turns heads everywhere she goes and it's not just
skin guys looking at her either. I've since grown my hair in but had a
chelsea when I met my husband 8 years ago and he wasn't a skin so it
wasn't the fact that I was that attracted him to me.

I think in any scene there are good looking girls and there are average
girls. It's just the way things go but, I think before you judge someones
looks you should be aware of the fact that beauty is an individual taste.
Someone you find attractive someone else might not and vice versa.

Well said, Patti. I beleive that punk and skin girls are incredibly
atractive as a group, and that punk and skin fashion makes girls more
attractive. I also don't belive in the mainstream beuaty ideals, and I'm
allergic to almost all makeup. I'm just one wierd guy, I guess, but give
me Siouxsie Sioux over Gwen Stefani any day.

Whoah...Where did you get that? I am a big fan of Siouxsie and the Banshees
from their punks days as well....the later stuff sounds a bit to gothy. Some
of these new women vocalists can't hold a candle to her singing.

goes with guys too! As an old commercial goes, "there

There are actually lots of things you can do with it. Most people, especially
syntactians, end up in a computer field. Linguists are often called upon to
help write grammar and spell check programs. Also many majors become
translators or teachers. Or others, like me, can go into speech therapy. It
is important to know a lot about phonetics and phonology. Also I tend to be
more interested in the cognitive part of linguitics so I would like to do
research in the field of cognitive disorders such as: aphasia and stroke, as
well.

f) "historical statistician" (as in - using historical examples, "predict"
future trends / events / etc.<< i.e. - due to germany's repetitive aggressive
behavior militarily, and the fact that they cannot get away with any military
invasions, they will attempt to control european nations economically. and as
usual, poland will be first. >> yunno, stuff like that)
g) learn a foreign language and work for the u.n. / other international group
h) same as above, but using a regional studies background as well
(example - i plan to major in east european studies. from there i can also
major or minor in internat'l business or internat'l relations, etc.)
i) like kim said, if you REALLY like history, you can do anthropology /
archeology
j) if you're doing american history, you can always try any of the above
options in a foreign country??

most of those probably won't help, but there's some stuff anyway.

dance on!
