Greetings.. looking at Skankin' Pickle's Green Album today I noticed that
song writing credits for four songs (Gas in My Car, Cup Flipper, Rest of the
World and Ties that Bind) were given to "Devlin". Looking in the linear
notes, I see a "Steve Devlin" thanked in them. So, who the hell is (Steve)
Devlin? A songwriter for another band or what?

Also, in regards to the Pietasters' "Willis". It's different, very
different, but still good music. I don't particularly like the way Mr.
Jackson sings in it, in fact, it seems to me like he's doing the opposite of
the other, more infamous, Mr. Jackson. But hey.. who the hell am I to say
anything?

Oh yeah, have the Independents released anything besides "In For the Kill"?
I remember hearing something about their new CD, but can't find any info on
it.

Thanks..

steve devlin wrote a good bit of skankin' pickle's songs. he lives in
stockton, ca. i met him at a mu330 concert--he is a pretty hip
guy--totally down to earth and not a prick. he has a new band called Redd
Devlin and the Tormentors--they're pretty small now, but from what i hear
from my friend middagh ( a good friend of pretty much anybody even
remotely connected to the dill/asian man empire ) they have Mr. Clean
(mike mattingly) playing bass for them--the old pickle bass player.
