Atsuko's meesage

I see that Atsuko has married and moved to L.A., according to her
message on the SK Nexus. I'm sure all fans of the band are happy for
her and wish her well as she moves onto a new stage in her life. I'm
unsure of her wording regarding her current status within the band
though. Is she merely not doing some shows in Japan and still in the
band and touring US/Canada or is this a stepping stone to her
departure? Hopefully Attchan is going to remain an active member, both
recording and touring when she can. We would all miss her happy
presence that's for sure.

Hi Tom,
It seems not many of us participate in this newsgroup any more. I check
it only occassionally because it is so full of "S.P.A.M."

According to information I received from a mutual friend, Atsuko does
not want to leave the band. They are thinking that Attchan will make
the trip from LA to Japan for big shows and for recording. It is clear
that things are still unsure. And I'm not sure how fair a fill-in gig
would be for a temporary member.

I mentioned in my post to the bulletin board that I thought Attchan's
residence in the US would make it easier to tour North America. We'll
have to wait and see, but I certainly hope this all means more concerts
in the US.
