There is currently a thread on SOTW in which some players are saying
how much they like their Ernie Northway Custom mouthpieces. I thought
it would be nice to put in a plug over here at AMS as well. Most of
the top players in Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas play on
Ernie's custom pieces. As far as mouthpiece makers go in my opinion
he is the real deal. Ernie is a very modest, quiet, and unassuming
gentleman who had a stellar career as a professional woodwind player
and who creates the very finest mouthpieces to his exacting
uncompromising standards. In addition, he is a really
straightforward, honest, individual and a really nice guy.
