Does anybody know something about saxes called "Hohner President"?
When were they made? Student models or pros? What is its worth if in good
condition?
Greetings

"Blue Wisp."

Some Hohner Presidents were made by Keilwerth. I tried a nickel plated
alto that looked great and like it was well made. It had rolled tone
holes. However when I play tested it (had a fresh overhaul) I had a
hard time playing altisimmo register and the low C was about a quarter
tone sharp as compared to playing middle C. I wanted to really like the
horn because the price seemed nice but alas I walked away from the
pretty , flashy out of tune alto and went home and wailed with
contentment on my no lacquer great playing Pan-American.

Stay on the scene like a sax machine.
