Does anyone have or know where I can get hold of a copy of the music for the
sax solo in "Will You", by Hazel O'Connor. The solo was played by Wesley
McGoogan. I have searched everywhere even emailed the company who have the
rights to the music but with no reply.
Here's hoping you guys and gals can help.
Thanks

Speaking about this fine solo, does anyone know what happened to McGoogan? Is
he still playing?

When I found the band arrangement from Cabot music I ordered it and the
transcribed solo was very close to what I had worked out for myself. David
Kear of Cabot was very good to deal with and send me a CD with a backing track
of all the other instruments (no vocal line) so that I can practice the alto
line. A very good £17 for the arrangement and £5 for the CD - if only my band
wasn't in the process of falling apart we'd probably be playing it now !
I think I heard that Wesley Magoogan had had some problems (medical ?) and is
no longer playing the sax at all. Great shame if true.
All the best

I haven't got an Acrobat writer, but I can probably work out some way of making
a soft copy of my transcription if anyone's interested.
