This is the prior posting;
I would like to invite all of you who enjoy Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul, R & B,
Country, New Swing, etc. to send an email to me and I will forward an initial
summary of the beginning of a book/CD that will trace the history of Top 40
"popular" music sax solos from 1955-2000. The summary explains everything in
detail and you can be a part of it by contributing historical data. Your name
and email address will be published [with your permission] in the book which
will be
distributed by Hal Leonard, Inc. I would like to complete this project by
12/01. I look forward to your knowledge, good memories, suggestions and imput
from your library of LP's and CD's. In those cases where the artist also
had/has a strong jazz background, I will list the jazz recordings.
When you send the email request, I will attach a WORD.doc file unless you
specify WORD PERFECT. And remember that if you only have one name to
contribute, it takes us one step closer to tracking the history.
Thanks for your time!
John Laughter
