I really like the horns, too. Yes, I got them at a great price. Right
now I am playing the Goodson models tenor, alto, and bari. They are a
little easier to play (specifically the left hand stack, palm keys
and altissimmo are fuller sounding and in tune with no air or
emboucher adjustment needed) for a once or twice a weeker like me and
the sound is incredible. I prefer the sound of the Saxgourmet tenor
and alto slighty better, but the ease of play wins out on the Goodson
models. If I played everyday I would definitely play the Saxgourmet
tenor and alto.
I think Steve's newest models will combine the best of both worlds,
but I am happy with what I have.
John, don't you sell Cannonballs over the net at bottom feeder prices
with no warranty or factory support at all on ebay under the name
"saxnut"? Where do you find horns in brand new condition to sell at
such cheap prices and why do you keep details of your sale private on
ebay?

Actually Steve what I have written is the truth and you know it. It
may be that you have lied so many times that you are incapable of
knowing what is true and what is not. I happen to know someone in San
Antonio who has a personal and professional connection with both a
current and former employee of Orpheus Musical Instruments. That is
the source of my information. If you have a different version of your
leaving the company than the one I have given, you are certainly
welcome to present it here for all to see. By the way, how else would
I know the "nickname" of the company's owner, if I haven't
communicated with someone inside the company?

depends on his reputation in the music industry. The search engines
are going to find this thread for sure when someone types in your
name. If the discussion goes stale maybe we can discuss certain
