Actuall the H. Couf horns and the Armstrong Heritage horns were BOTH made by
Keilwerth, so there definitely was a Keilwerth influence there. I had an
Armstrong Heritage alto that was absolutely identical to the H. Couf Superba II
alto. This was a VERY sweet horn. I still remember it as the nicest
all-around alto I've ever had. Sounded like a conn and felt like a Selmer.
Man, I miss that horn.
