Hi people,

Anybody hear Sarah's phone call to MTV Live yesterday? As always,
she showed how genuine and candid she can be--I'm sure we all know and
love this about Sarah. At one point she said her reaction to winning
the award was "Oh shit!" I just thought I'd share this with you guys.
I have no intention to start a pointless thread. Then again, we could
discuss Sarah's use of profanity almost covertly in her music.

PS: A million congrats to Sarah for the two Grammys.

Sarah might have said "oh shit!" when she won one of her awards because
she was out on the 'red carpet' being interviewed when they announced the
winner.

it must be a bummer to win an award and not actually be there to accept
it.

No kidding. Did anyone see the Golden Globes? Christine Lahti was
in the WASHROOM when they announced her Best Actress TV Drama win.
A career memory if ever there was one.

sooner or later we need stories to help us wake up...we wake up, each of
us, dreaming ourselves into existence--we_become_ the poem, we _become_ the
song, each of us _is_ the story. Happiness depends on how well we tell it."
