simply a paranoid coincidence, because the dice numbers are going
down (6,5,4,3,2)
Don't you think that if Rush was satanic, they'd sing more "Worship

As a Christian who adores listening to Rush because it's good heavy
sophisticated music that does *not* cuss, talk about sex, denigrate
women, or push dope (well, there is 'A Passage to Bangkok', and some
other oblique references, but compared to the rest...), I'm going to
keep my Rush, thank you very much.

Well, if this was the middle ages, and someone showed me a radio,
I'll admit I might find it a bit intimidating. But the physics of radio is a well
understood phenomemon, and I doubt that even the most
ultra-conservative preacher would suggest that Satan has anything to
do with it. Besides, the word "spirit" has more than one meaning,
and if you took the time to listen to the words of this song, you'd
realize that it has nothing to do with spirits of the supernatural
kind.

I'm Christian and I like RUSH's music. If you praise the lord, then
how come you know so much about satanic rituals. Someone else here said
that RUSH is one of the few groups that doesn't talk about se,
profanity, degrading women, or other terribly thing found in some rock
music in their songs. I'm not giving up RUSH because you say it's

To whomever made this original post, I don't know how many replies
you've received yet...but here's my best explanation of your
examples/arguments.
The star is usually seen with a naked male positioned to hold back the
symbol. Neil Peart explained once in an interview I read this is meant
to be the human spirit ("soul"?) holding back "evil". The human spirit
is depicted on the "levitating brains" (Hemispheres) album as the two
hemispheres of the mind, the left "logical" side (the businessman), and
the right "creative" side (the naked man). The story on the album is an
allegory of the dueling and harmonizing of the two sides. I have yet to
find the "666" images you speak of. The "spirit" in the song title is a
different definition altogether than the devine one you've used.
The point here is, there are so many other true enemies for you to
fight, why bother with Rush music? Don't waste your time fighting
windmills.

I don't think I'll ever have a sense of humor when someone trys to
tell me that my favorite rock group is satanic. I think your the one
with a bad sense of humor to tell a bunch of RUSH fans that RUSH is
satinic. You must like people flaming you. And don't stereotype
Americans, there is no such thing as a typical american.
