Hi,
I'm a huge Rob/White Zombie fan and was hoping someone out there
could
point me towards some like-minded sounds. Other bands that do it for
me are Metallica (obviously!, and since 1986, too!), Queensryche
(they're still killing!), ACDC, White Stripes, Maiden, Quiet Riot
(I'll miss you!), Cult, Slayer, Megadeth, Tool, Peppers, too many to
name!

But I really want to find some Zombie type stuff. Loud, boil your
blood, rev you up, kick some major ass stuff. Industrial metal?
Whatever. It's just really hard to find music when you've been out
of
the metal loop for a while. College is now a distant memory.....

Thanks for advice,
MaryMetal

Hi MaryMetal!

Where you at? Maybe there's something on college (though it be distant)
radio somewhere in your area? I know there is some here, near Boston.

What about iTunes or Amazon or Youtube? You could search for shit you
like and then let them suggest shit. That might be kind of lame, I
know. Do you have cable tv? A lot of cable systems have music channels
and they usually display the artist and title.

But why the fuck are you asking us? Are u reetardead? Search your own
fucking universe for shit you like. Not to be a dick, but really, are
you so lame that you can't a better source than to throw out some random
? on usenet? I thought you were smarter than that!

Keep bangin' that head...

Ummm...thanks...I guess. I swear like a motherfucker, too, but I
wouldn't have done so to a complete stranger who was asking for some
help in a usenet group. All I can say is:
I'm very sorry I wasted your time and appear to be 'reetardead' to
you. I'm just a little older than average now and have been out of
touch for a while so thought I'd come to a group of like-minded people
to see if they had any advice. I was wrong. I sure didn't expect
such an ugly reply. Oh well. I'll take your advice and stay away
since I'm not welcome.

I'll stick with Zombie and keep my stupid mouth shut.....

Yeah, you know what? See you next Tuesday. By the way, I like Twinings
Spiced Chai, but I'm a little older than average. Can you think of a
tea I might like?

Does that strike you as an intelligent question?

Happy Birthday to Rob next Sunday, the 12th! The big double 4!

Plus, if you DO like Zombie, I would ask you to check out my new CD.
My composition style is frequently compared to him, as well as
The Prodigy. The CD is called "Democracy Tanks" by The Gravitator and
is dedicated to conspiracy theory behind 9/11, Iraq War and the whole
post-9/11 anti-terror hysteria.
Sample sound files are available at
http://www.the-gravitator.com
Thanks in advance
