Meaning of song 'Unsatisfied'

I'm putting together a CD for a CD club I'm in with a bunch of friends from
high school, and some of their friends I don't even know. Was including a
small blurb on what each song was about (or what I thought it was about).
Was hard to pin down 'Unsatisfied', as I'm not sure what it's about
objectively, or even to me.

Was curious to hear you guys' thoughts.

Ha ha ;). I had that part pretty much figured out. But is it in their
relationship, sexually, politically, all of the above? I always thought the
song was simply about unsatisfaction sexually, but as I get older I try to
re-think through the snap judgements I made in my youth...

I always thought the singer was just unsatisfied with his life in
general. "Everything you dream of is right in front of you...."

It's pretty awful, but it's at least as good as anyone's attempt would
be at explaining this song. (I take exception to the first line,
though -- the intro is clearly "borrowed" from "Hard Luck Woman" by
Kiss.)
