I'm not really sure (as I wasn't in the studio), but I've heard none of the
"punk all-star team" actually recorded this stuff with Stiv...

After Dee Dee quitted to play with the Ramones he had a band together
with Stiv Bator, Johnny Thunders plus 3 other guys. It was called Whores of
Babylon. They recorded some stuff around 1990 but they could finished the
album because Stiv died. After that a French label released a cd in 96 with
some songs ( Poison Heart is in this album ). The album is Stiv Bator - The
Last Race.

either way, johnny thinders is great, so i bet its cool...

I'm saying, I heard that that the Last Race CD didn't actually include any of
the Dolls or Ramones or anyone else it claimed, other than Stiv. I've got the
CD, and the booklet claims that a bunch of famous punks were Stiv's backing
band, but I know that I've read accounts from Dee Dee and someone else saying,
"I never played on that record." Officially, the CD is little more than a
bootleg, so it is pretty likely that it is wrong...after all, it was put out by
the damn French people, and we all know how they are.
