Well, I was listening to some Rammstein for the first time in a few days
last night when 'Heirate Mich' began playing and my hubby start kind of
bopping and moving his feet while he was sitting on the sofa and said 'I
like this, what's it about?'. I told him it was a song about
necrophilia and started reciting the lyric in English and he got this
twisted look on his face and said 'That bloke is sick ... he must be to
think up something like that!'

It got me thinking ... why is it that so many people think authors such
as Clive Barker or James Herbert are such imaginative writers (not my
cup of tea, actually, but I know plenty of folks who like to read them)
or artists such as Dorian Cleavenger are so cool, when actually song
lyrics are so much less explicit and yet people think it's sick to write
songs about disturbing subjects?

I asked Mr Lisa this and he agreed that it seems to be the case but he
has no idea why.

Anyone any thoughts? I'd love to hear if you think the same or have had
similar experiences.
