A friend of mine just gave me a copy of "Union". I've listened to it a
thousand times trying to figure who is singing that song?? Is it Thom??
Could it be?
Because I've listened to it so many times, I think it could be. But the
first time I heard it, I thought it was some one else!

Could somebody please take me out of this misery!!!!!

I believe you are possibly referring to Union City Blue, which is a Blondie
song that radiohead covered occasionally a long, long time ago. thom does
indeed sing this.

Michael Cook
"you've been stuck in a lift, we didn't want to reach you sista"
doesn't have quite the same energy, but oh well.

I have a partial mp3 of that song, and always thought it was an excellent
cover, anyone have the whole thing?

i've got an mp3 called union too, and the lyrics doesn't look like the ones
from union city blue, it doesn't sounds like thom voice even the guitar doesn't
sound like radiohead...but it was listed as a radiohead song...i'm clueless

there's a part where the singer goes like
"what did i say,
what did i do,
what do you look for
..."

get the song here...if you care:

Thanks for that info Micheal, but i have "Union City Blues" on another disk.
This one that I'm talking about is called "Union". The guy singing has a
much deeper voice than Thom!! I'll quote from the song, maybe it will ring
a bell...."Without a sound.......What did I say? What did I do?? ...What
are you here for........? " I can't really make out all the words but maybe
this will do?!

Thanx again!!

just to answer the quesrtion, Union sounds nothing like Union City Blue...it
reminded me alot of the so called "brit rock" of the mid 90's tho
