Ever think that the numbers below the OKC tracklist is the secret
recommended way to listen to the album?
18576397, with the triangle before it pointing upwards to the tracklist
the arguement is strengthened.
"but what about the other tracks?" i hear you say. well they could b
distractions to hide it. "but why fitter happier twice?" it reinforces
it.
so it would be...
Airbag
Electioneering
Let Down
Fitter Happier
Karma Police
Subterranean Homesick Alien
Climbing Up The Walls
Fitter Happier

if you think really hard about the links between songs, a story
develops.....

album.

hmm... seems you'd have to think really really hard, and then some, to
be able to see any coherent links that form a story... well, any more
than if you shoved any other 8 tracks together...
still, it's an interesting theory... anyone else have any ideas what the
hell it is? or if it really is a phone number?
btw, if it were a phone no., how would you dial it, anyway... i mean, am
i wrong, or do phone nos. in the uk have only 6 digits? and then, if i'm
not wrong, the area codes have 4... which gives a possibility of either
6 or 10 digits...
then of course, here in north america, there are the 7 digit local
calls, or 10 digit long distance
i found out today my okc is scratched!!! argh! i have to buy a new one,
since lucky and karma police don't play properly... (partly cuz of my
bloody cd player, no doubt)

Ever try fixing the CD with toothpaste? I'm serious!
Take a bit of it (tartar control works best) and put it evenly on
the damaged areas. Rub it in with a tissue or soft cloth, and rinse lightly
with a wet cloth. Dry the CD, and try playing it again!

That's how I fixed my copy of The Bends. The toothpaste fills
is the scratches nicely. Let me know how it turns out.

Highlighter also works. Pretty well, too.
But it doesn't get your teeth as clean if you ever have a really
uncontrollable urge to eat your CD.

just a question...but how did you figure out that toothpaste fixes
Cd's...were you brushing your teeth at the time you discovered the
scratches?

But the granules are very small. Maybe they smooth away the edges of the
scratch. Its much better to scratch the playing side of a CD than the side with
the title or whatever on. Or so I've heard, anyway. (sorry, useless fact
there.)

Toothpaste is also used to repair scratches in wrist/pocketwatches. Seriously!
My cheap-o timex is still good as new ;)
