Glam-rock innovator David Bowie joined neo-glam rockers Placebo for versions
of the T. Rex nugget "20th Century Boy" and Placebo's own "Without You I'm
Nothing" during the band's show at Manhattan's Irving Plaza on Monday night.
The show was cybercast by SonicNet, and it was followed by an online chat
with the two acts. Bowie and Placebo also sang "20th Century Boy" together in
February at the Brit Awards, the English equivalent of the Grammys. Placebo's
most recent album, also titled Without You I'm Nothing, was released in 1998.
