I know you're all probably of superior knowledge and find this question very
amusing. But could someone explain to me the meaning of the lyrics to Banana
Co. Is it an American or something?
Hey you in the back row stop laughing.

Well I could tell you but I may pass as a know-it-all.....or maybe just well
informed. I'm not laughing, fairly good question.

Well, I can tell you this-
Banana Co: A reference from Gabriel García Márquez's book One Hundred Years of
Solitude. The banana company is a foreign business that comes into the small
South American town of the story called Macondo and messes with the culture, as
well as exerting political control.
