I've seen two songs were Leroy Brown is mentioned: Bring back that Leroy
Brown (QUEEN) and Bad,bad Leroy Brown (Jim Croce).

Does anybody know if the name correspond to a real person? Who?

Please don't start that discussion again. I asked it once. Quite some
messages were posted in this group but no-one really knows an answer.

By the way: Queen themselves have mentioned Leroy Brown in more than
one song, I'm pretty sure.

Greeting from Gijs.

I may be wrong here (and I am almost sure I am) but doesn't the
Queen song refer to bringing back that style of music, rather than some
unknown entity ? Hence I would presume that Leroy Brown would be the
name of the style of music, but then as I said, I may be wrong.

Jason

PS Did I mention that I may be wrong ? :-)

Wasn't Leroy Brown some gangster in the twenties or thirties? Check out the lyrics of the song.
