Hi folks, just thought you might like to know about this discussion on
alt.cult.movies. I have had nothing to do with it!

Cheers, Jason the Kiwi.

Actually, I think someone was having a few people on. I didn't expect anyone to
give a serious answer!

Cheers again, Jason.

Oh, yeah, Tim had a name like MERCURY and he decided to change it to
CURRY. Sure, right, and I am an intelligent Clinton supporter. Obviously
someone was taking advantage of someone who probably would believe you if you
told them that "gullible" is not in the dictionary. Time curry looks nothing
like Freddie. Wrong kind of hair, nose, eyes, chin, swagger, it's all wrong.
I can't believe that someone could think this. That's like saying that Ronny
Milsap and Stevie Wonder are brothers...or Rosanne Barr and Shelly DuVall are
sisters for that matter....

Hold on-- did someone imply that Mercury was Freddie's real name?

I hope not. A woeful mistake.

I think.

to jump to a slightly different topic:
After a watching the Rocky Horror Picture Show for the first time, I had to
know this: "Did Freddy Mercury EVER cover 'Sweet Transvestite'?"

I think that there is a resemblance between Freddy Mercury and Tim Curry...
Do you have to be so damned cynical just because you don't agree...? Maybe
they look alike because of the Rocky Horror Picture show and the various
Make-up combinations that were shown on Freddy.. But hey I could be wrong...

The first time I heard "Let Me Entertain You" was before a showing of
Rocky Horror. The floorshow cast were performing a variety of
numbers, and Frank sang (& danced) LMEY.
I would love to hear Freddie's voice on some of the RHPS songs...

Then again, I'd love to hear Freddie sing any number of songs,
including new material by Queen... <sigh>

'Freddie' isn't Freddie's real name!
