i think she died a "normal death" (what do you say in english?!). she was
ill for month, been in coma...just reading, that it's not known what she
finally died of.
don't know, maybe they'll say it later :(

If you can read german here's a clip.
not sure what it all says but my very limited german says she was sick
for a while and died in her home....maybe...my german is not good.

Her private life was like a rollercoaster, she was married three times, all
divorced. cocaine and drugs made her life very bad
in the end of the 80ies things became quiet around her, she also didnt make
a lot of movies anymore. eventually she lived with freddie mercury in
london. when he died in 1991 she disappeared almost totally.

In january 2001 she was found uncoscious in her flat in munich, was brought
to the hosptial and was treated because of a blooding in her brain, and also
fell off of a chair in a cafe while drinking cognac-cola. she was in coma
since that happened, and had to use a wheelchair.

she supported an aids-help, organised festivities and collected donations.

on 22nd february she died in her home in munich after long sickness.
