- O.K Dont do it Don't you try it babe. Dont do that
Don't Don't Don't Dont do that.- "I suggest you listen to the rest
of this song" ;-)
If it weren't for differing and opposing opinions, how mundane this
world would be!
But I would hate to think that my life could ever be so dull that I
could find the time to post messages to news groups outside my areas of
interest.
Umless of course, I were looking for a flame war. If that's the case,
my friend, you've come to the right place. These folks will bury your
ass alive. Have a great weekend.

Have you ever been instructed in proper debating methodology? Step 1 is
to define your premise (or thesis, if you will), and introduce supporting
arguments. You started off okay, "I would just like to say how much I
hate the band Queen." That's good, because it states your position.
However, your chance of being taken seriously by this group was greatly
diminished by your next sentence ("There [sic] music is tacky....").
See, what is it that you find tacky? The layered vocals? The use of more
than three guitar chords? The versatility of the band? You need to share
with us, the people not inside your head, your reasoning.
Where you totally lost any credibility with me was when you said, "There
[sic] music...pisses me off." If it pisses you off so much, why do you
listen to it? You may, perhaps, be better off listening to music which
suits your unspecified taste.
patt.
"Nobody gives a damn."
Sir,
Would you mind telling us how much of their music you have heard? What
don't you like about it?
It perfectly normal to differ in tastes, but the apparent intent with
which you posted that article is dubious. Are you looking to stir up
some unpleasantness? Surely you lead a better quality of life than you
are leading us to believe.

Alot of people want me to explain in more detail. I just don't like
there music I have heard quite a bit of queens music and I don't like
it. The music is corny and I gets on my nerves. Feddie Mercury got on
my nerves when he says things like "There talking out of here" (and
points to his arse) you get it please if you want more info on my hate
of queen reply or email me.
Thanks

I have been trying to get my 12 year olds at school to take a critical
approach to the music they listen to. I had one student approach me with
a dance music tape in class and ask me if she could play it at the end of
class. I said sure, on the condition that she tell the class something
about what we were going to listen to. Faced with this she backed down.
In fact, I have so far been unsuccessful in getting these children to say
much more than, "I like it" or "it's just cool" as positive responses, and
as for the negatives, they range from "it sucks," "it pisses me off" to "I
don't know, I just don't like it." Incidently, how old are you?

You're probably getting more attention with your tacky post than you've
had in a long time. If you don't like Queen, then don't listen to them!
(and get a life!)

Then why the hell are you posting on this newsgroup ?
I don't think the regular readers of this group care what you think
anyway. Why don't you just go away and listen to the Prodigy or
whatever intelligent stuff you usually listen to ?

Mr. Palmer,
Perhaps, instead of trying to ignite ill will across the internet, you
might attempt to use your time to better advantage. Might I suggest a
basic grammar and spelling course.
If you really want people to take you seriously, you really should
learn to express yourself clearly and intelligently. Until then, we
all see you for the troll that you are.

Rest In Peace Freddy. We all miss you.
We all have different tastes. However Queen have been extremely popular
since the early 70's and are one of the most influencial and diverse bands
of all time. I'm sure you could find some songs that you like if you look
hard enough as they used so many different musical styles. Hard Rock, pop,
disco, Jazz, classical, punk etc... just to name a few.
I for one don't like a lot of other bands that are popular but I don't go
around telling people that do like them. I just learn to respect other's
tastes no matter how bad I think it is. Maybe you should do the same instead
of telling everyone how much you dislike Queen.
Paul.
Correct grammar would be "Queen IS shit." Queen is a collective noun, like
family. In your case, one would not say "I don't know what I is talking about," but
"I don't know what I AM talking about." Another example is "Me have no taste in
music." You would correctly say "I have no taste in music." Do you see the
difference?
Thank you.

Bad move "Death on two Legs.." This intelligent queensgroup has just
buried you ass. Don't post outside your newsgroup to get attention.
I'll be honest I'm reading everyones messages, and I agree with them you
have bad taste. how old are you?
Death on two LEegs..
I think you're entitled to your opinion and I don't think you should be
ignored (however your spelling could be better, it's "their music" and
not "there music"). Nevetheless, I'll try to answer your question if an
answer is what you're really after. Since their formation, Queen have
been breaking musical barriers and setting standards for bands to
follow. All the members of the band have an extremely high knowledge of
music and the instruments they perform. Brian May is regarded as a kind
of Guru by fellow musicians and Freddie Mercury's voice was unique, you
won't get that kind of voice in pop rock history again. If you want a
proof of this just have a look at the tribute concert in Wembley and
you'll notice how professional singers failed to do a decent job by
singing his songs (with some exceptions of course, George Michael and
some female singers). I don't approve of all the things that Freddie did
in his life; yes, I didn't like things like pointing at his rear end in
a live concert but it was a joke. Don't tell me that you and your
friends don't ever do similar things for the sake of joking. You're
using the word "shit" in public, isn't that kind of similar? But
changing the subject, I suggest that you start listening to Queen with
an open mind; have a listen to albums like Queen II and A Night At The
Opera and try to imagine what a unique sound that was in the early 70's
(at a time when radio stations were playing Village People). However, if
your young age prevents you from having an idea of the musical
enviroment of those times, have a listen to Made In Heaven and tell me
if it isn't a superb and unique work in a time where a lot of the
published music is conformed by monosyllables and the only alternative
is listening to bands that sound exactly the same as old bands (doesn't
Oasis remind you a little bit too much of The Beatles?). Tell me also if
you find tacky a musical work (like Made In Heaven) where the extreme
pain of someone who is about to die gives form to such a creative group
of songs. I won't convince you about what you don't want to believe; I
don't need to convince you either. But there's one thing you'll see,
Queen fans are generally a mirror of one of the band's attributes: a
broadminded approach to everything and good education. Try to post the
same statement to other music newsgroups about their respective bands
and see if you get the same kind of moderate and polite answers you're
getting here. By the way, you're welcome to visit my website to read my
reviews on Queen albums. The URL is as follows:

Okay, now you've heard from someone who thinks otherwise.

You're a moron who can't even spell. "there music" should read "their
music" and "There talking" should read "They're". A man of such limited
intelligence shouldn't be talking.
