Hiya,

You might be interested to learn a bit about our band bingo. When he's
not busy impersonating Jarvis on Pulp tours, Gareth Dickinson is the
singer in our unsigned UK Leeds-based band bingo. We're not a Pulp cover
band, we do our own indie-pop-quirky sort of stuff (I'm the drummer).

If you want to hear some of our songs, check out http://www.bingo-
net.demon.co.uk, we've got 5 MP3s there - we'd love to hear what you
think. Also, in the next week or so, there'll be some pictures of the
UK Pulp tour from November/December, never before seen!

I went along with Gaz to 3 of the gigs at the end of the tour,
Birmingham, Brighton and Bournemouth, and had a fantastic time. I met
all the Pulp guys, and even had tea with Pulp before the Bournemouth gig
- fantastic!

(Me and Gaz also had a night out in Brighton with Rialto singer's
brother!)

If you happen to live in the north of England, we've got a gig in Leeds
on Thursday 13th May. If you'd like to come along, get in touch, and we
might be able to get you on the guest list.

Cheers, Frank.

Rachel,

you are absolutely right, he did, he mentioned it, but you sent it by
email to his uncle's email account as far as I can remember....(that's
where he posted from).

I'm the technologically inclined one from the band, so if you send stuff
to me, it'll get sorted (this is the OFFICIAL bingo email account!)

BTW, do you know Liquidation in Liverpool, coz we may be doing a gig
there in the next couple of months if we organise ourselves!

Completely off topic, just been to see a band called Prolapse in Leeds.
Amazing. Got single of the week in NME a week or so back. We're due to
interview them on our radio show in 13 hours time! (And our guitar
player Christian fell in love with the female lead singer)....

Feel free to repost your questions on the newsgroup, or by email, and
I'll make sure they get answered.

frank xx

Well I've just downloaded Ghost Boy - it's good. I've also sent you a
completely irrelevant link suggestion that you might see fit to put on your
site. Maybe.

Anybody want some dried apples?

Oh nice one, just checked it out, fantastic! That's the sort of
irrelevant stuff I've been after! Any other suggestions would be
welcome!

Our bass player Lee will be particularly interested, he's from Somerset
- cider, scrumpy etc....

Lee mentions that in traditional cider there should always be bits
floating around the bottom of every glass - insects, twigs, rodents,
fingers and so on..

That link will be on the links page by next weekend definitely!!
