It almost came out on single...
And, so I've heard, there's 10 copies that were produced.

If that is true, then what would the B-Sides been to anyone's knowledge?

And do you think that there was a reason Liam didn't even try to release any
more singles from FOTL after this point?

I know that 'Narayan' was basically eliminated, but 'Deisel Power' would
have been up for it maybe.

Not to late for him to release singles from FOTL.
I'd say Mindfields (fat chance) or Funky Shit.

It would be kinda cool of them to release Climbatize as a single.

Er, Liam released SMBU, commercially, after this. I think we all know
about the SMBU single, don't we, peoples?

Where do you get your research done, Andrew?

No, not at all. Prodigy never release collaborations as singles.

I'm still hoping that Funky Shit would be released as a single. I
just love to see how the people that make charts handle that one.

Why is that?

I reckon you're gonna have to cross your fingers 'til they bleed, Mr
Mashlan. Sorry, but I doubt the Prodge will release another FOTL
single, IMHO...

(Not that I'm against that idea, of course...)

>>No, not at all. Prodigy never release collaborations as singles.

Not too sure. I think Liam mentioned them being difficult to re-enact
on stage.

Did you know that Their Law was once considered as a single, btw?

Strange.
They do Their Law, Serial thrilla, Fuel My Fire all in their live act.

However I remember being at a Concert in Ireland where Kula Shaker and
Prodigy were Playing and I was hopping that they would do Narayan
together but other then Crispin Mills singing a couple of Seconds of
the chorus during his set it didnt happen.

But on the other hand I do Remember when Prodigy And Pop Will Eat
itself were playing at a Festival in Ireland sometime in 1995 and I am
almost certain Pop Will Eat Itself joined Prodigy for Their Law (At
the time I didnt know what PWEI looked like but It was broadcast on
telly and one of the Pop Will eat itself blokes had a bright yellow
coat on during their set and you could see him on the stage for Their
Law too. Also Maxim said something like"This ones going out with Pop
Will Eat Itself.) If only my VCR had been working.

>Did you know that Their Law was once considered as a single, btw?

Cant see why it was turned down. It would have been preferable to No

I doubt it very much - The radio version'd probably have that whole line cut
out or something!

But Noram Cook, 'Gangster Trippin'' - He had an un-noticable amount of mass
swearing in that.

>>No, not at all. Prodigy never release collaborations as singles.

So far that is true, but I can see why 'Their Law' was considered as a
single, 'cos it is brilliant.

They're completely different types of songs really.

Really? - But I'm sure that Narayan (Working title: Western Sun) was
considered for release, wasn't it? - That's like completely vocaled by
Crispian Mills.

Serial Thrilla isn't a collaboration.

Fuel My Fire isn't exactly hard. Saffron's voice is used more ofas an
instrument than a proper 'singer'

Apparantly, KS have done the song themselves, live.

Some tit on BBC Ceefax's Backchat started that rumour.

It may sound like that, but the line is something like "We've got to
kick that gangster TRIP, come on" -- hence the title of the track.

No, there are 2 main samples:

We're gonna kick that gangster shit.
What we're doing when the fatboy's trippin'.

Hence the title of the song.

Anyone else noticed how ever since alt.music.fatboy-slim appeared, about

You're probably right. I think it's kind of funny though -- they
have two versions in the US, the explicit version and the "clean"
version. On the "clean" version, Gangster Tripping appears
unaltered. The altered track is, of course, "Fucking In Heaven", and
on the clean version, it's been altered and retitled to say "Illing In
Heaven".

BTW - if anyone's curious, there's one difference between the explicit
US and non-US version -- In the US version, the artwork has been
altered so that the title of the "naughty" track is just "In Heaven".
