NME's review of NPS...OUCH!!

not mince words at all....I don't hate it myself, but the article
definately makes you think..
Maybe if this album gets enough negative reviews (and I'm sure its well
on its way now) he'll get SOO mad that he'll look at Larry and say "I
love you man, but you got to go, there's some motherfuckers I gotta
prove wrong" and then head straight to the studio andmake a SPECTACULAR
album. Hey, it happened before, how do you think the Black album
happened?

NME's review....who cares? If u buy it and ya like it, play that MF'er. I'm
tryin to understand why Prince would really care either way what the
critics would say. Shit I don't. I'd rather hear what sum other fans opinon
are then sum fool at a magazine where I don't even know his or her tastes
in music.
NPS is a tight Prince album. (at least for me anyway) No techo, no rock,
just sum smooth cuts and party jams. Perfect music to drive to. (we wore
the album out at the park this weekend)
I'm just sayin, these little reviews are only going to change the mind of a
person that aint really into Prince anyway. I'll leave ya'll wit this. The
last few weeks I've been playin NPS at the studio(where I work) nonstop. Of
the the differnet types of artists that come thur there. It's the older
folk artists that are commenting on Prince the most. "Is that Prince?
Wow...I love that guy." "....I saw him on that Sinbad show....I like what
he and Larry where saying." Then all my hip-hop partners are like"...dayum
Thats sum Prince shit?? I might have to get that"
For me, I love NPS. I also think that all of O(+>'s (got his name right)
music sounds the same. Just that some songs I like more then others. One
thing I like about this album, is that it's constant. He picked a style and
stuck with it threw the entire album. One thing ya gotta remember is he's
already workin on the next one so if u aint feelin NPS, he's got sumthin
else for that ass. :)

What's up with the "He's pickin the wrong single" talk? Is it just talkin
shit or do we have some people on here that have released and marketed
albums before??

I doubt this will happen... r negative reviews really gonna convince him 2 drop
the man who he sees as his mentor?? He doesn't care about reviews...and he
wouldn't say mf either!
