I get updates from EQS Music, they're based in NY, and I just got a
notice that they are taking pre-orders for the following Japanese
re-issues (19.99 + S/H). According to them these are CD versions of the

Right on all counts mentioned. Do It All Night was a UK single, but no
extended version or mix. The way I see it, you don't have to buy all
these, some of this stuff was on Hits B-Sides, and many others available
as imports that most of us have: Little Red Corvette Dance Mix, Let's Go
Crazy extended Mix, Erotic City extended, I Would Die 4 U extended (live),
Kiss extended. The way I see it, (assuming they are the same as the
original 12" releases) the important ones are:
I Could Never Take The Place.. for 7 Minutes 'Mo Quake.
U Got The Look for ext version & Hot Thing remix & dub.
Glam Slam for ext version & Escape ext version.
Let's Work for ext version.
Alphabet St for ext version & b-side instrumental version.
Anotherlover for ext version & Alexa De Paris (if you didn't by the
import of Letitgo).
Sign O' The Times for La, La, La, He, He, Hee ext.

Seems to me that WB would release some kind of set here in the US?? OR
someone with CD writing capabilities, here's your chance to make some
money, with the initial investment of the above CDs, maybe you could make
thousands. I'm sure bootleggers will pick up on it, and in turn, WB will
release them here too.

Hee hee I know what you mean :-) I raised one eyebrow to some of the
remixes when I saw them too. All this stuff is due out in Sept or Oct,
just in time for me to go broke right before the holidays ;-)

No, it was NOT!!
I don't have an original, but it was available in the UK! The extended
version is about 8 minutes long or so & has some sexy solos & what not! Add
that to your "important to get" list!

No difference... Taken from rehearsal and VOX were overdubbed.

Nope! This is the UNBELIEVABLY cool extended version at around 12
minutes long... No time on the 12" so I just assume.. It's just
LONG!

Hmmmm......... Anyone interested in copies of 74 minutes worth of
these? Let's see..... How much are they? $18 a piece? That's $324
for the complete set.... Hmmmm.... Say $30 per CD? It would take 2
CD's to cover all of these so let's say.... $50 for the double?
If interested send me an E-mail... I need to finance these CD's......

I didn't get the 1st post of this thread andIi can't find it on aol's NG
server anywhere either. (What a suprise) Could someone please repost the
entire list and it's source. I have seem vague listings on a web site that
says they are expected in late Oct. but no further details.

Yes, the year long version of America and it's flip side are essential.
The Partyman remixes and Feel You Up (long stroke) were available on CD.
A CD3 from the UK or Europe. There was also a CD3 with the (short stroke)
too.
GOD (instrumental) HAS TO BE ON SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sexy Dancer (extended) is a pretty happnin cut and on vinyl rare and
very wideband and dynamic.
The UK promo 12" only extended version of The Pope would be appreciated
as would the Damn near 10 min.+ version of Get Off.
I guess we can all dream.
Please post any *confirmed* info that any of you get.

Sexy dancer 12" is not the album version, it is a terrific remix of this
great song, if I only had to buy one, I would choose this one...
