man, I've wondered this for a while.. It seems as if her site is the
only one in his bookmarks that he checks daily. I have noticed his
CONSTANT slander of her and her site and I find it quite childish.,..
She has put on a real cool thing for the fans and he hasn't. I don't
look at her site but I have and I DO check it more often than his
OFFICIAL site so maybe THAT is the reason he is so bugged out on her?
Becuase he CAN NOT control what her site says and since she give REAL
info and not just all the fluff that makes him mad. Pierre's site is
a good source for info, but Pierre himself contradicts himself
constantly and everytime Prince posts his views on something (Like not
reading reviews because they dunno what they are talking about) Pierre
suddenly has the same views. But then Pierre throws up a review, a
review IN FAVOR of "The Artist"... So does L41A, Prince's OFFICIAL
SITE that DAYS before condemmed reviews!

Oh, why doesn't the girl who does Prince Family post here or have
anything to do with the "social" part of the online Prince community?

Girl, Woman, Transvestite.. It's all the same here Bart my man! :)
And to tell ya the truth.. Your Website is more informative on the
IMPORTANT FACTS than almost ALL others INCLUDING PrinceFam.. I mean,
I ain't sloggion' on her site AT ALL but I feel your site is CHOC FULL
of info, HISTORICAL info that is actually almost a necessity to learn
if ya wanna be a Prince collector / fan.
But you do also have to understand that my intrests lie in the
material and histporical facts of the projects rather than what he
wore to an awards ceremony. That's just T though.. :)

I also wanna add soem stuff to your site on a few projects but I
dfon't have enough back ground info on all of it as of yet (It's there
i just haven't had it sent to me yet) so I can't right now.

Here's a salute to Bart.... His site should get more attention than
it does.... Go take a looksy if ya want EXTENSIVE info on recordings
and side projects...

Nice post. Get's the mind thinking . I loved the Andre interview. I interviewed
Andre back in 1983 or 1984 for radio and at the time, he was less than
forthcoming about Prince. In fact, he wouldn't even refer to him by name. Maybe
predating the nonpronouncable O(+> . Hehehehhe.
But Andre was cool.

She probably doesn't want to get caught up in the perpetual flame wars that
clog AMP.
IE...

Firstposter says: "I really liked the Black Album"
Responder says: "I only liked 'Le Grind,' the rest sucked."
Firsposeter responds: "I think you suck"
Responder responds: "No, U suck."
Then someone else entirely posts: "You both suck. AND you're both racists!"

and this continues for another week until someone else posts: "You know, I
really didn't like Diamonds and Pearls..."

You mean: am I a WB employee?

Grow up. In case you haven't noticed, WB has been the best thing to
have ever happened to prince. Remember when you got a new single every
couple of months (and not one every 16 months)? When you got a new
album at least once a year? (And a good one.) A great tour that didn't
boast about visiting a 100 cities in two years (whereas he used to do
that in three months)? Etcetera... all during the WB "oppression"...

Get over it: it was never WB's fault, as one article recently stated:
no record company ever has bent over so far backwards to fullfill an
artist's wishes as WB with prince.

If you haven't figured it out yet: WB is not the reason Prince is
being largely ignored nowadays, Prince is. Without any outside help he
has succeeded in alienating his fanbase on a scale never seen before.
Prince used to sell 5 million copies of each record, nowadays he's
happy to sell 250,000 (and tha number is a lie, it's actually
100,000).

BTW: No, I'm not paid by WB, nor do I particularly like them. Only
those that want to defend prince at whatever cost would come up with
such a ridiculous reason for my post.

Virgin Records had a HUGE back-lit poster for "Emancipation" up in
their outside window for about two months when the album first came
out. The damn thing was at least 6' wide by 20' high.
