Anyone see this movie?....man, it was truely awesome!
I loved the retro 1930's look and feel it to, the washed out color and
theost black and white look to it, and the robots!, THE ROBOTS!!!!!

Ooh man, the CGI in this movie is some of the best i have ever seen and the
MATTE background were awesome, i have never seen a movie to incorporate this
level and qualtity/quantity of CGI before.

The story is simplistic enough, mad scientist who creates an army of robots
attacks New York, kills scientists and generally has a diabolical plan to
blow up the planet!!!, did anyone notice the sound effects?

The sound effect used by the robots shooting lasers from their eyes is the
same sound effect used in the truely classic War Of The Worlds ( to be
remade by Stephen Spielberg and Tom Cruise).

I really enjoyed this flick, i'm a kid at heart and a Sci-Fi geek to the
core, movies like this to take you to another world and two hours of
forgetting that people like George Bush live in our world.

Why does this word worry me? There are far too many around at the moment.

(snip)

I finally saw it tonight, and agree on the look of the film. I
absolutely loved this film, visually, and I am usually *not* a fan of
CGI.
