Yesterday, my band was able to be a part of the first taping of the
new Mollie B Polka Party out in Wahoo, NE at the Starlight Ballroom.
It's a terrific old fashioned ballroom with the old wooden booths and
a terrific kitchen. We were honored to be a part of this taping, and
the 41 fans on our bus all had a terrific time!!

Patrick from RFD-TV was there, and his whole staff, production crew
all the way through were so fantastic to work with. They all made it
very comfortable for the bands getting on stage, sound check, help
getting off the stage. It was a top notch event all the way through.

Mollie B and Ted worked so fantastic and covering all of the bases,
that everything just went so smooth. The hall was full. I didn't get
a number, but I really don't think they could have put any more people
in the place!!

These new shows will start airing July 2nd. I'm also excited to be
able to see the band being taped in Frankenmuth, MI! For me
personally, the Polish and Slovenian style bands were not well
represtend in the past, and I know Ted and Mollie are working hard to
help all genre's become seen and heard! This is a great thing for
Polka music!

Hat's off to Mollie, Ted and RFD-TV for a job well done, and wishing
hem much continued success in the future!!!

Sincerely and Polkatively,

ALL of the bands that performed at the first "taping festival" of the Mollie
B Polka Party in Wahoo, NE received payment for their performances.
Additionally, in the coming weeks, each of those bands will also receive 100
DVD's of their performance for the bands to use as they wish, whether it be
to resell or use as a promotional tool.

Hope that answers your question.

Who cares what we got paid??? The time and investment into this
project, is priceless with the people in attendance, and exposure we
will get. The RFD crew and staff were outstanding. Ted and Mollie
covered all of the bases.

The return on this investment out weighs the initial investment! To
produce a show like this on our own, let alone us PAYING for the
production, why not do something like this?? The sound guys were
fantastic, and all was done very professionally!! I'm glad the band
was able to get away and all were very willing to do this! PLUS we
took a bus load of 41 people to the event, that also was extra revenue
for the band. PLUS the bands GET the DVD's to sell. RFD get's none
of that revenue. Seems pretty simple and not rocket science.

Thanks to Ted and Mollie for putting the time and effort into this
event and look forward to more down the road.

Don't get grumpy Gary, I was only looking to find out if it was better
than BJ was offering when he had the show.

So often bands are expected to play things like this gratis in return
for the "publicity" which hardly is ever tracked to some future benefit.
Kudo's to Mollie B, Ted and RFD for what's going on!

Robert,

Sorry, didn't mean to sound grumpy at you, but just was a comment in
general, not aimed at you.

YES the offer was and stood by waaaaaaaay better than what was ever
offered in the past by the past host. Ted and Mollie B work hard and
have gained the trust of the bands they are working with, which is
something the previous host never did.

I can honestly tell you that since the taping and the showings, the
returns on these shows have been huge! Everywhere we play, people are
watching the shows. CD sales are way up, between the live gigs and
also the orders coming in through the mail as well. Also bookings are
coming in for many gigs for possibly this year, and 2012 is filling up
nicely along with some stuff for 2013 as well.

Trust me, these shows are SOOOOOOO worth doing!!

Gary B
