Ed Guca & The Polish Canadians New CD release

Canadians has been released today December 23. It contains 13 songs of
which 5 are original compositions by Ed Guca. The CD also features 2
vocals by the Polish rock star Jerzy Krzeminski from the Polish group
"No To Co". The CD will be available shortly from JimmyK Polkas and
other sellers, or if you are in the Toronto area, you can purchase one
from MOVIE ART DECOR 1566 Bloor St. W. The CD will be sent out to DJs
shortly after the holidays. If you are a Polka DJ make sure you are on

So cool that it features J. Krzeminski of NO TO CO, a legendary
Polish folk-rock icon : That's like a locally-produced "American"
group's featuring performances by someone like Jimmy Buffet, or maybe
Bob Dylan -:)
Relating "Polish" style music to mainstream Polish music on
recordings is something that , unfortunately, maybe even tragically,
the "Polish" style field in the Americas has rarely done :
Interestingly, when this is done, it's generally "the Canadians" who
do it : John Go'ra, by his very presence as well as his repertoire,
which cleverly combines selected Polish/European hits and standards
with good polka music, has done the most in this regard to date, I
think. This recording idea by Eddie Guca covers new ground, though:
