I heard last night that instead of a Breeders show at the Troub, the
Pixies were supposed to get up and play a few. Anyone here about
this?

Thats like saying the Rod Stewart/Ron Wood show at the Hollywood Bowl
is really going to be the Rolling STones. Joey Santiago joined them at
the first Spaceland show for "Gigantic" which recieved the best crowd
response of the night. Actually that was the best Breeders show I have
seen since 1994. Last nights Spaceland gig was a benefit and was a bit
shorter, about 50-55 mins and no special guests. I went not expecting
the Pixies but the last Breeders show. probably for at least a year.
