We thought that it would a fine thing to count up year by year--now
that the light of the 2007 Grammy Awards has shone, back to 1986 and
move up day by day to the present.

On February 25, 1986, the Grammy Awards were given at the Shrine
Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The Album of the Year Award
went to: Phil Collins for his album No Jacket Required, a group of
songs that featured Phil's signature 1980s sound. An outstanding
article about this album appears at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Jacket_Required.
