Fiorenza's points of view are actually questionable. :)

Nowe, for starters I'd like to make it absolutely clear I'm not writing this
to be rude towards Mike Fiorenza in any way, he has my greatest respect and
appreciation after all he's done concerning the ELUSIVE home page, selling
great CD:s et cetera, but I just HAVE to make a comment on his thoughts of
the Nightlife tracks...

Mike scores "for your own good call me tonight" and "Closer to heaven" 10/10
points (if I'm not seriously mistaken), and "happiness is an option" a 4/10
AND claiming that listening to it 50 times would be something comparable to
killing oneself, or something.

Now I've heard the samples of all these three songs from the multimania page
someone was giving links to before (thank you, by the way) and unless some
SERIOUS remixing have been done to the versions found there compared to what
Mike heard, I'd say it's more like the opposite.

"For your own good..." and "Closer to heaven" are two so PetShopBoys-typcial
songs you get tired of the samples after listening three times to them,
while "happiness is an option" is an EXCELLENT song and you want to hear the
sample over and over again. It differs from the traditional March-Disco
sound (or whatever it should be called) which has been PSB trademark for way
too long now. I loved Silver Age too, and especially the dark parts in
between the verses and at the end of the song, parts that, if I'm not
seriously mistaken again, people hated as hell here on the newsgroup because
they thought those parts ruined the song. My opinion is those parts MAKE the
song great.

So the Eric-points for the three songs mentioned above are (not that anyone
would ever care, but still):

For Your Own Good Call Me Tonight: 4/10
Closer To Heaven: 6/10
Happiness Is An Option: 9+/10

That's all, and Mike, remember, you're still a great guy. :)
