Pet Shop Boys 11/1/99 VHS for sale
New York City Boy
I have for sale VHS copies of the Pet Shop Boys concert from 11/1/99 at
the Universal Amphitheatre.
The price of the video is $15 delivered. All copies will be recorded on
high grade blank tapes
directly from the digital master. Shipping will be done via the US
Postal Service.

It was filmed from the balcony, and no heads are visible on the tape. At
2 points people walk by
to get to their seats, but they do it quickly, thankfully.
The concert was recorded with a JVC digital video camcorder.
Unfortunately, the second tape used
was bad, so the latter half of the show is plagued by somewhat glitchy
video. It is still totally
watchable and enjoyable, but as the show goes on the glitches are more
and more frequent (it is
particularly bad during the 2 song encore). The audio is unaffected by
the glitches, and is
excellent throughout.
To see a realvideo excerpt of the tape, head to the following url. Keep
in mind that this is a
realvideo clip, so of course it looks choppy. The tape looks much, much
better. But this will
give you an idea of the angle of the footage compared to the stage and
so on.

There will be no trades until December 3rd, so I won't negotiate any
deals until then. I just
got a letter from the guv'ment asking for several hundred dollars, and I
would kind of enjoy
eating occasionally this month.
I can not do digital transfers. The video is available in NTSC format
only to US addresses. Sorry!
