Introspective Cover Question

Hello Fans,
I have a question about the cover of the Introspective album.
Why is the cover from the CD edition different from the LP edition's cover?
The colors on the LP are (from l. to r.)
dark yellow - green - pink - red - yellow - dark pink (I don't know how to
call this in English :-( - Dark Blue
The colors on the CD are:
Pink - Yellow - Red - green - Pink - Middle-dark-pink - dark pink

WHY?
I know that nobody knows that but....

Uh maybe because Neil & Chris were just sitting in the studio and said to
each other: "Hey let's color this CD version totally different, so people
are going to ask about it" or something like that..

Well it suits them.. They always do that kind of fancy stuff ;-) (and
probably to have collectors buy them both)

I think it's usually called purple.
