The 40,000-capacity event runs from 2pm to 6am the next morning and will
feature six arenas, playing host to 50 DJs and 20 acts. Arena hosts include
Cream, Bugged Out, Big Beat Boutique and Metalheadz. The full line-up will
be announced soon. DJs tipped to play include Jon Carter and Lo-Fidelity
Allstars.
Cream had planned to host their second festival at the Matterley Estate in
Winchester on May 29 but the spot was taken by ex-Cream director Darren
Hughes and the Mean Fiddler's Homelands festival.
A spokeswoman for Cream told NME: "The site we've now got looks onto the
River Mersey and it's wicked. The fact that it's in Liverpool is a really
good thing because that's where Cream is based." Tickets are available from
