Hi, I'm with an online magazine called Dotpitch (formerly known as
Turntable). We're pretty new, having our first issue up only last
February, but our number of readers are steadily growing. So far, we've
talked with Jack Logan, Dandy Warhols, Jawbreaker, Fig Dish, Superdrag,
Low, Kelley Deal (of the Breeders, and her new band Solid State),
Dambuilders, Ben Folds Five, Salt, Jonny Polonsky, Built to Spill, Frank
Black, Sauce Rocket, Possum Dixon, Soul Coughing, Walt Mink, Archers of
Loaf, Varnaline, The Spinanes, and Velocity Girl.

In the June issue (up now) , we've got interviews with Stereolab, 5ive
Style, Scheer, 12 Rods, All About Chad, and Dylan Hicks. You'll also
spy: Almost 40 cool new record reviews (each will cover art and a
downloadable sound clip), a nifty column, not to mention a contest in
which we will, yet again, change the name of the magazine. The chosen
name will be the final name of the magazine. Forever. This is the last
time we will ever change our name. Plus, the winner gets wacky prizes.

I know you've seen a lot of lame online music zines, but if you've heard
of any of the above (or below) bands, you just like it.

The July edition (up July 1 and named something other than Dotpitch, for
God's sake) will feature The Cows, Jawbox, Willie Wisely, Ivan Brunetti
(author of the deranged comic book, "Schizo"), All About Chad, and
February.

Come August: A special feature where Minneapolis band 12 Rods interviews
Chicago's Brainiac, Nada Surf, Chixdiggit, Man...Or Astro-Man? and more!

Other bands we're trying to get interviews with right now are: Beck,
Maria McKee, The Butthole Surfers, The Cocteau Twins, The Jesus Lizard,
Modest Mouse, and Yo La Tengo. If there's anyone we've missed so far that
you want to see interviewed, send an e-mail to barg...@skypoint.com.
