I just read that Pearl Jam and all the bands playing at the Tibetan Freedom
Concert are now banned entry into China

Oh well... I guess the Chinese are missing out.

It's alright... Pearl Jam didn't want to play there anyways!

yeah so. that means more time for them to play here...hehe. no didn't they
play a few years ago also. not like anyone who goes to the tibetan freedom
concert knowns what the damn thing is for. most of them go for the bands and
not the cause. its like the last year of lolapalooza except the people went to
see the utopia stores and then all the cool people who were real fans couldn't
go. china sux anyway. i don't think the chinese know too much english. i
know japanese do, but not chinese

This is great news, since it means the Chinese Government noticed, and reacted on
it publicly.
Its working!! More! Harder! Faster!
Fuck those bastards,

Well, I think they're scared of what would be said. You know, bad rep with all
the torturing and murdering of innocent monks and all. The bands might release
information! Don't buy Chinese products... and learn as much as you can about
this madness. A religion, or a difference is no case for genocide. I wonder if
the Chinese had read Hitler's works, ya think?

don't buy chinese products and who suffers? certainly not the communist
government. place a trade embargo on cuba and who suffers? certainly not
fidel castro. place economic sanctions on iraq and who suffers? certainly not
saddam hussein. it only gives those countries more reasons to hate the
u.s...and for a good reason too. yes, learn as much as you can about this
madness. just get your information straight.

NO, I guess you should. If you actually read about what this movement is
about... they encourage you not to buy products made in China. I say don't
support a goverment that does these things to people. That is my point, I
think you missed it completely.

Just a little late to post, but this was on the Simpsons, in 2005.
