but one of my highlights has got to be seeing Data play a shoe salesman
:) Brent Spiner really does know how stretch out the boundries of his
acting profession :) j/k but it was cool.
i guess thats all i've got to say about that.

haven't seen it yet, but most critics seem put off by the stereotypical lawyer
character Pfieffer plays and the fact that they think Penn's character is too
reminiscent of Harrison Ford's Henry in Regarding Henry

Salon.com was absolutely brutal in its review saying that Sean Penn
had "disgraced himself" in this "hideously manipulative" film. Wow.
I mean....wow. That's one terrible review. I can hardly believe the
film's that bad.

I wouldnt go THAT far. I found his performance to be inconsistent with the DD
people i have worked with while in college.
I just don't think he did much of a good job.
Other critics say he was wonderful.
i haven't seen it yet. but today one of my friends at work (we work in
special ed at a high school) just raved about it. best movie she has
ever seen....but us 'special ed' people are a bit bias at times.
i haven't decided if i want to see it or not.
